The exact difference between a standard house cleaning and a deep clean, room by room, and how to know which one you need.
A room-by-room comparison so you know exactly what you are paying for and which one to book first.
A Standard Clean maintains a home that is already in decent shape. A Deep Clean resets a home that has not had professional attention in a while, or ever. Almost every recurring plan starts with a deep clean, then switches to standard.
Standard: counters, sink, stovetop, outside of appliances, microwave inside, cabinet fronts wiped, floors. Deep adds: cabinet and drawer fronts degreased, backsplash, range hood, behind and under small appliances, inside the microwave scrubbed, window over the sink.
Standard: toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, floors. Deep adds: shower door tracks, grout scrubbing, tile detail, behind the toilet, exhaust fan cover, baseboards.
Standard: dusting of reachable surfaces, beds made, floors, trash. Deep adds: ceiling fans, blinds, window sills and tracks, baseboards and door frames hand-wiped, light switches and outlet covers, vents.
Book a deep clean if it has been more than two months since a professional clean, if you are prepping for guests or a listing, or if you have pets and allergies. Book standard if the home was deep cleaned recently and you want to keep it there.
It is an add-on. Many people do not need it, so we keep it separate rather than build it into everyone's price.
Yes, though for most homes twice a year plus a recurring standard plan is better value.
